Gamer Since: I can't remember that far! I guess I started PC gaming with Doom 1/2 and some console gaming on the Sega and Nintendo. About a year ago, I started modding Ghost Recon and it's bloomed into an extreme interest of game development. It's still a hobby though.
Other Interests: I've studied computer programming and completed an internship at the Department of National Defense working on databases. My next step is a bachelor's degree in software engineering.

I've been gaming for a number of years - started on the Atari playing Stealth Fighter. I've played a range of PC games from Age of Empires to the Brothers in Arms series and many more but not seriously due to real life commitments. I first started online mutiplayer gaming with Rome Total War and later with Company of Heroes.
Currently playing ARMA II, COD MW2, COD WaW and Bad Company 2. Also enjoy IL2.
I prefer military sims with an emphasis on teamwork and tactics. The use of voice communications being an essential ingredient for enhanced gaming experience. |

Been messing around on the computer since the days of DOS (self-taught). "Below the Root" and "Loderunner" are some oldies. Got into online gaming about 5 years ago, never found a good group to play team-based until I jumped online with Ghost recon.
While I'm not gaming, I'm either playing with the wife and kids, or taking my sportbike to the track. |

Bio: I've been computering and gaming since the dawn of man... Flight Sims are my gaming roots.. Falcon (all series) Enemy Engaged, all the old Microprose Sims... anything that flies. I became interested in Combat sims with the advent of Rainbow 6. I enjoy the comarade of online gaming because of the nature of teamwork that it allows. Voice comms really add to the gaming experience, and I prefer to game with those that feel the same. |

I have been playing online since the days of Starcraft and have played most of the RTS and 1st person shooters. I always felt that there was something missing though (usually my skill). Found the =TE= guys through Saber about 18months ago and liked the tactical realism and teamwork approach to games.

I started my serious PC gaming with RTS titles like Command & Conquer and Starcraft. After entertaining myself in the CounterStrike world for a while I discovered the joys of Ghost Recon.
I helped develop mods for GR at Network 42/Tacticalgamer for a few years before drifting away from FPS games in favor of City of heroes/Villains (which I still enjoy).
Getting back into the world of tactical shooters, I'm learning the ropes on Arma2 and CoD: World at War. |
